All-Inclusive elopements can totally take all the stress and panic out of planning an epic elopement. Elopements are meant to be intentionally intimate, and focus on you as a couple along with your captivating love story. Planning one of these days can often feel a bit overwhelming and scary.

The good news is ‘all inclusive’ packages exist, and their soul purpose is to take away all the drama and leave you with a totally beautiful authentic day to celebrate. But what’s included in an All Inclusive Elopement?

This is the big question we’re all asking right? Searching the web for answers is bound to leave you more confused than when you started so I have written this post to break it all down for you. Let’s go!

What is an All-Inclusive Elopement?

I’m sure you have already seen the plethora of ‘elopement packages’ blogs and pins floating around the internet, and that raises the question: what the heck is an all inclusive elopement anyways?

All-Inclusive elopements are defined differently across the board and this can be very confusing to couples searching for the right one for them. I get you!

All-inclusive doesn’t always mean ‘all’ and that is terribly misleading, but the general consensus is that they all include more than just the base service. So, a photographer that offers an ‘all-inclusive’ package will have other services beyond photography included, and a venue offering one may have things such as photography, videography, florals, catering, bartending, or dj services included.

You will find this varies quite a bit from vendor to vendor, but lets just talk about how I define All-Inclusive Elopements. That’s what your here for after all!

The Base Service

As I stated above the ‘all inclusive’ part comes into play as there is more offered than the base service. So for me that’s Photography. I offer half-day, whole-day, and even multiday elopement photography all over the U.S. My ‘all inclusive’ package includes the ‘whole-day’ service and is currently only availible for Glacier National Park elopements.

This means you get my top tier service for a whole 12-14 hour day, giving us plenty of time for getting ready, maybe a morning tea or canoe ride, the main event for the elopement, and often a dinner followed by lantern photos. All of my standard photography packages include the same base level of service. (I use the word base-level loosely as my services are top tier luxury services and there’s nothing basic about them)

The ‘All-Inclusive’ Part

Now let’s get to the good stuff. As I said before, what a photographer includes in their ‘all-inclusive’ options varies, but I try to include everything I can into these packages. My goal when creating my ‘all-inclusive’ package was to make the process as easy as possible for couples.

While I plan and book everything you may want or need for your elopement day, you don’t have to give up any level of control you aren’t ready to give up. I send all my couples options for their vendors and activities and they get to make all the final selections, while I do all the ground work for booking, and paying invoices, and communicating with those vendors.

• Photography Coverage (Whole-Day package)
• Video Coverage (2-4 hours)
• Hair + Makeup
• Airbnb for 2 nights
• Flowers (Boquete + Boutonniere + table swag)
• Cake (6′ round single tier)
• 1 FREE to you activity (picnic, canoe, rafting, etc.)

How much does an “All-Inclusive” Elopement cost?

Obviously, this all sounds pretty great and I can hear the gears turning in your head. The natural question that comes up is: How much does it cost?

Elopement photography in itself varies quite a lot from one professional to the next. We all offer different levels of service, live in different markets, and have different levels of skills and experience. A photographer with about a year experience in a smaller market is naturally going to have a much lower range than a photographer with five years experience in a destination location.

To simplify all this a bit further we’ll just talk about the industry averages. Elopement packages, or just photography packages, start somewhere around $1000 for a ‘starting’ price and go all the way up to an average $8000 starting price.

That being said when you start factoring all the other elements of an “All-Inclusive” package the average cost is somewhere around $20,000 in the whole US. Keeping in mind that all photographers have different rates, it super important to vet your photographer and make sure you are going with someone with the experience and knowledge you need. This way you can feel confident trusting them to create a meaningful, streamlined, and totally stress free day for you.
