Adding video to your elopement day can really elevate the overall experience, and give you something super personal and unique to look back on. Photos can truly take you back to a moment in time, but that moment is forever frozen. Never changing, and sometimes being able to see that moment play again in real time can be a priceless treasure.

The personality and voice aspect of a wedding day video will always take my breath away. Being able to hear your person recite their vows to you for the rest of time will do something to the romantic in you. As someone who has lost a father, I can't even begin to tell you what I would give to hear his voice telling me that he loves me again.

Video gives you an opportunity to share the in-real-life experience of what it would have been like as a guest among the trees. For couples that elope with the hope to share their wedding day in its entirety with their loved ones, video can really do this in a way photo can't.

Aside from the couples that regret not really investing in the photography portion of their wedding or elopement experience, the 2nd biggest regret I hear is that they didn't hire video. So learn from those who have come before, and book video coverage too!

LNT + Drone LAws
Oathbound Elopements is promised to abide LNT in all aspects of our adventuring and this extends to our video offerings. We will be abiding not only State, Federal, and Local Laws regarding videography, but also LNT principals as well.
Drone footage is not available in all locations, and we will do our part in the researching phase to see what if any drone footage is allowed. We will also take on the responsibility of checking with local authorities, and entities to ensure we apply and prioritize any required permits.

Like photography, there are options when hiring a videographer, and while there typically aren't near as many different options as the photo coverage, each team offers a little bit of a unique experience.
So, when you are looking at hiring a team for your day be sure to ask lots of questions about the coverage as well as the offered deliverables.

Hey I'm Amberly
The Photographer + Planner
If you've gotten this far you probably already know me, but I'm Amberly. The owner and photographer behind Oathbound Elopements.
When you work with Oathbound Elopements I am the one you get to chat back and forth with about your best day ever. I'm the one who does all the behind-the-scenes and planning. And on your epic elopement day, I am there taking all the photos and helping you document this day forever.

Meet Ben
The Videographer
Ben is the owner and videographer behind Erickson Media based out of Kalispell Mt. He and his wife Megan have teamed up with me here at Oathbound Elopements to give each couple seeking and intentionally intimate elopement experience the unique opportunity to relive their wedding day over and over again through video.
Ben is a worship leader, husband, and father. He is a romantic at heart just like the rest of us and really thrives when helping couples creatively share their love stories through beautiful videos.

Haylie
Haylie is the go to girl for all the things. She works with Amberly on occasion when an extra hand or set of eyes is needed to bring the dream full circle.
She is a great asset to Oathbound Elopements, and you may see her name on an email, or her face on one of our many adventures!
Adam
Adam is Amberly's husband, and his day job takes him away a lot, but it's not totally uncommon for him to be bopping around lending a helping hand on elopement days especially.
He's mostly seen for technical support, travel overseeing, and other logistical duties.
Megan
Megan is the brains behind Erickson Media, and she is often the one writing the emails, sending contracts and managing the logistics of the Video side.
She enjoys tagging along for adventures and elopements when she can manage to take a day off from all the other moving parts.
